Barcelona will host the 8th edition of the course Claus per Bioemprendre promoted by Biocat with the collaboration of CataloniaBio & HealthTech, the Associació de Biotecnòlegs de Catalunya (ASBTEC) and the Dr. Antoni Esteve Foundation, on May 15, 22 and 29.
The course is geared towards graduates and undergraduate students in the life sciences (biology, pharmacy, biotechnology, medicine, biochemistry, veterinary, chemistry), masters and PhD students and young researchers.

BIO International Convention 2018, the most important global event for the biotechnology industry, is being held this year in Boston (Massachusetts, United States). The previous edition welcomed more than 1,800 exhibitors and 16,000 top executives from 74 countries and hosted over 41,000 partnering meetings (up 16% from 2016) and featured 800 speakers. The convention is organised by the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO).
The Spanish pavilion will be shared by all companies, including those from Catalonia, which must manage their participation through ICEX. See the participation options available.

From 25th to 27th September 2018 will be held the ninth edition of Biospain in Seville (Spain) for the first time. It has become one of the most important biotechnology events in Europe (34% of those who attend the congress come from outside of Spain). Biospain will feature a trade fair, partnering cabins and conference halls all in one pavilion.
The event is organised by the Spanish Bioindustry Association (Asebio) with the support of the Regional Government of Andalusia.

Les Jornades R+D+I TIC Salut i Social, que tindran lloc els dies 27 i 28 de setembre a la UVic-UCC, tenen com a objectiu potenciar la transferència de coneixement entre els agents clau del sector TIC, salut i social a Catalunya.
