CataloniaBio & HealthTech will hold the first edition of the Connection Day on Thursday 27 April, at the Institute of Ocular Microsurgery (IMO) in Barcelona.

The aim of this event is to be a benchmark space for B2B connections in the health sector, where the more than 200 members of the CataloniaBio & HealthTech community, as well as organisations from the ecosystem, can explore synergies and collaboration points in the products, services and solutions they offer. An exhibitors' area will be set up where organisations can promote themselves and encourage partnering with other attendees. This event is aimed at all types of companies in the health sector (biotech, medtech, pharma, digital health and services), as well as knowledge generators who wish to promote their technology and/or innovation.

In the context of the Connection Day, CataloniaBio & HealthTech will officially present the Health Sector Investment Study 2022, which we are preparing together with the consultancy firm EY.

8:00h - Exhibitor's set up

9.00h - 11:30h Accreditations - Welcome coffee - B2B partnering

Two and a half hours of partnering that will take place in the lobby and garden of the IMO, a large open space to connect with other companies in the sector where exhibitors will be located and spaces to meet. With dynamics to encourage networking.

11:30h - 13:30h Presentation of the Health Sector Investment Study 2022

The Study on investment in the Life Sciences and Healthcare industry in compiles key indicators and provides a business investment analysis of the sector. We will share the key figures from our study and then analyse the data in a round table discussion with key players in the ecosystem.

In the hall and garden, there will be a lunch, where attendees will be able to continue establishing connections between the attendees, using the exhibition area.

Exhibitors: Exclusive for CataloniaBio &HealthTech members. The display will be the same for all organisations and will consist of a simple and affordable furniture for all types of organisations (a high table and two stools). Each company will bring its own roll-up or similar, to give visibility to its brand (recommended dimensions 2m x 1m).
