CataloniaBio & HealthTech is organising the webinar together with M Ventures, the strategic corporate venture capital fund of Merck. This session will address key issues for health companies and entities interested in fundraising for early stage Life Sciences Therapeutics and Tools and Technology companies. There will be a general presentation of M Ventures, the current funding environment and a discussion of learnings on how to maximize success in fundraising.

The session will be led by Christian Uhrich from M Ventures, who joined M Ventures in August 2019 as Head of Strategy, and is currently Principal in the Biotechnology team. He has led several early stage investments for M Ventures in spaces such as CGT manufacturing, single cell analysis, AIDD, cell engineering, etc. and represents M Ventures on the board of several portfolio companies. Before joining the company, Christian spent over ten years in the external consulting space and holds an MBA from Mannheim Business School.
