The CataloniaBio & HealthTech Gala Dinner is a networking event that brings together more than 200 entrepreneurs, executives and professionals from the association’s member companies and organisations, as well as politicians and important figures from benchmark institutions in the biomedicine and healthcare arena in Catalonia. The event aims to foster relationships and cooperation between business and science.
For the last two years, the Covid pandemic has not allowed the Night to be celebrated. This year can meet again in the event, which will be held on March 22 at the Palau de la Música Catalana, in Barcelona.
During the Night, we will have a lecture by Mr. Josemaria Siota, Executive Director of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center (IESE Business School), entitled "Tackling the EU Valley of Death via corporate venturing in deep tech". Also, the BioSuccess Award 2022 will be given to a member of CataloniaBio & HealthTech.

Nominations for the 2022 Bioèxit Award
During the gala will be revealed the Bioèxit Award, in recognition of a company that has achieved a remarkable milestone in 2021. All CataloniaBio & HealthTech members can submit nominations for both their company or another member until 28 February.

Last year the BioSuccess Award was for ONA Therapeutics and was given during the UnConference, last November. In previous editions, the Biosuccess Award had gone to Kymos, Ysios Capital, Antonio Parente (for his career in business), Anaconda Biomed,Mind the Byte, Mosaic Biomedicals, STAT-Diagnostica (now Qiagen), MinoryxTherapeutics, Palobiofarma and Oryzon Genomics.
